Bridge

Salhusbrua

Facts

At 1,614 meters, it is Norway's second-longest bridge. Above the shipping lane, it is a cable-stayed bridge, while the rest of the facility is a floating bridge of 1,243 meters. The fjord is up to 500 meters deep and the floating bridge is anchored only ashore. This makes it the world's longest floating bridge without side anchorage.
