The dam is 50 meters high and 150 meters wide, and raises the water level in Sarvsjuvet by 40 meters. The reservoir in Dam Sarvsfossen takes around 600,000 cubic meters of water. The reservoir delivers water to Skarg power station, which can thus produce 70 million kilowatt hours of electricity, which corresponds to the electricity consumption of approx. 3500 homes.
