Contract Advisor

Energy Consult AS is looking for a Contract Advisor.

This is a unique opportunity for you, who want to work with major energy, industrial and infrastructure projects, internationally and in Norway. The position is varied, and some of the tasks can be: calculation, contractual assistance, procurement, and project implementation.

Your work tasks

○ Coordinate contract work in projects.○ Quality assurance of qualification requirements, and award criteria for entering into contracts.○ Receive, and evaluate offers, prepare, and conduct negotiations.○ Ensure that evaluation of tenders is carried out, in accordance with the procurement strategy and competition basis.○ Quality assured, and prepare tender documentation, actively participate in the calculation phase, and the mobilisation phase.○ Provide professional support in contract conclusion, change management, contract training, and contract writing.○ Responsibility for the preparation of commercial and contract terms in offers, contracts, and framework agreements.○ Process, and concretise issues, for legal assessment.○ Be a contact person for external assistance (lawyer / trade union)○ Be able to be a technical facilitator / mediator, in conflict cases in Norway (EBA facilitator list)

Qualifications

○ Minimum 3-year college education.○ Legal expertise Important with good knowledge of Norwegian Standards, and other relevant contract standards.○ Experience from large energy, industrial and infrastructure projects, internationally and in Norway.○ Experience from the construction industry will be a benefit. Preferably as a consulting engineer, or similar role with the client.○ Knowledge of calculation tools and BIM tools.
